The demoscene – a long-standing branch of digital culture focusing on real-time audiovisual art – was just accepted to the Finnish list of intangible cultural heritage. The application was part of a larger international project which aims at getting the demoscene recognized by UNESCO. The Systems of Representation group was involved in the process through the participation of Markku Reunanen, who was the main author of the application text, supported by several individuals and Finnish Museum of Games.
